A few days ago, I posted Peace in Pain and Sorrow , then later asked the Lord if I conveyed – true Peace and Joy comes from Jesus as he lives and dwells in our hearts.
I found the Lord is always faithful to answer our prayers in his time.
Saturday morning when I went to donate blood, He affirmed the question in my heart when I approached the tree displayed in the foyer. The tree and the lights displaying those very words Peace and Joy.
Again, Christ Jesus; the Star of Bethlehem, the Babe in the Manger. He pierced the darkness and shines his Peace and Joy in the hearts of men.
May those of us who know and have experienced such Peace and Joy, pray this day and throughout the coming year to be faithful to continually carry His message of love and hope, the Gospel (the good news and glad tidings). May our lives and words be a blessing to those he brings along our paths.
I’d like to close with a very special new Christmas song I heard, The Reason for the Manger, explaining the gift of all gifts.
May the New Year bring new beginnings to commit to carry and share the light in our hearts to a world desperately needing to hear the message.
Merry Christmas to all!
Thank you, Lord Jesus
